A food manufacturer outside of Chicago had an aging wastewater pre-treatment system that was becoming a major maintenance and operational challenge for the facility.

THE SOLUTION:
The team decided a replacement of the pre treatment system was the best path forward. A smaller but fully capable rental system was brought in during the construction of the upgrade to allow the plant to continue operation without interruption.

THE PROCESS:
The new system included two equalization tanks, a screen, chemical conditioning equipment, dissolved air flotation and sludge storage.
